Mary Wilkins

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Wilkins (nee Spatchett). Mary passed on October 8, 2024 peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. 

Mary was born on September 23, 1941 to Frederick and Selina Spatchett. She grew up in Saxmundham, England where she met Philip Wilkins. They were married shortly after on August 3, 1974 and then moved to Canada with their sons Anthony Spatchett and Dane Wilkins.

For those who knew Mary will know she was a sassy lady who adored her family. She will be greatly missed by her children Anthony Spatchett and his wife Donna, Dane Wilkins and his wife Amy Cairns, her grand children Tiffany McIntyre and Husband Blair, James Spatchett and his wife Shiralka. We are blessed to have many memories we will hold in our hearts forever. The sadness of Marys passing is comforted by knowing she is at peace. 

Our family would like to thank all the amazing Staff at St Peter's Hospital that cared for Mary in her last days. Your compassion helped us through a very difficult time in our lives. There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date.
